Lana has worked in the area of diversity and equal employment opportunities for 13 years. This includes working as a diversity advisor for the Equal Employment Opportunities Trust for South Island organisations, facilitating workshops on leveraging diversity, and as EEO Manager of the Human Rights Commission. Originally from the United States, Lana has travelled extensively and immigrated to New Zealand in 1997. In addition to her Settlement Support Co-ordinator role Lana is working towards a post-graduate degree in Development Studies from Massey University.
